Friday, May 4, 2018

1. Remember that your propaganda posters are due Monday at the beginning of class. (Tuesday for second period). I'll give everyone 5 minutes at the start of class to make last minute touches. Also remember that with your poster you should also have the handout that I gave you indicating what techniques you are using.

Create a propaganda poster that is from the perspective of the animals, a specific group of animals, or the humans.  Think about what they want to achieve (join the revolution, save Boxer, defeat Jones, Stop the revolution).

Remember that your propaganda poster should reflect what happens in the story and should include symbols (colors, the flag, the windmill, the commandments, the beasts of england song etc).

Also remember that propaganda is often times manipulative; it twists the truth, and makes people seem far better or worse than they often are.

2. Complete the Assignment on Benjamin found on Google Classroom (this is not due until Monday night)

3. Respond to the poll on Google Classroom about Shakespeare (due Sunday night)
